Ohly has a great opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Boyceville, Wisconsin.

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on leader to drive excellence in maintenance operations. In this role, you will play a key part in improving equipment reliability, enhancing preventative maintenance programs, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for the team.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Execution

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and prioritization support to maximize team effectiveness
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of maintenance personnel
  • Identify skill gaps and partner with leadership on team development and training
  • Lead execution of small to medium maintenance projects

Planning & Reliability

  • Develop detailed job plans, maintenance schedules, and technician routes
  • Utilize CMMS to plan, track, and continuously improve work order management
  • Improve equipment uptime through optimized preventative maintenance (PM) programs
  • Collaborate with production scheduling to leverage downtime and changeovers effectively
  • Investigate and prioritize maintenance requests from cross-functional teams
  • Continuously enhance CMMS data accuracy and utilization
  • Support development of forward-looking maintenance strategies and TPM initiatives

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all maintenance activities prioritize safety in planning and execution
  • Integrate safety protocols including LOTO, arc flash, hot work, and confined space requirements
  • Promote a strong safety culture across the maintenance team and plant floor

Cost Control & Optimization

  • Drive cost efficiency through effective resource allocation
  • Minimize reliance on external contractors by maximizing internal capabilities
  • Collaborate with parts/inventory teams to optimize stocking levels
  • Determine cost-effective solutions while maintaining operational standards
  • Support budgeting activities with the Maintenance Manager

You should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience in maintenance operations
  • Proven experience with CMMS systems
  • Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Experience planning and executing maintenance under safety protocols (LOTO, arc flash, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across teams
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional environments

Nice to have:

  • Degree or diploma in Industrial Maintenance or a related field
  • Experience in food manufacturing environments, including GMP and food safety standards
