    About the role

    Sinai Hospital's Facilities team relies on Team Leaders to act as shift supervisors to keep a 24/7 medical center in Baltimore running, from HVAC and electrical systems to the fire alarm, nurse call, and pneumatic tube systems that staff and patients depend on every hour. As Facilities Maintenance Team Leader, you'll lead your shift's maintenance associates, coordinate equipment downtime resolution and preventive maintenance, and be the person other departments call when something breaks and needs a fast, informed response.

    Responsibilities

    Own shift-level leadership: lead, coach, and schedule maintenance associates, and weigh in on hiring and performance decisions Keep the hospital running by resolving equipment downtime and driving preventive maintenance across your shift Manage and troubleshoot the hospital-critical systems other departments count on: fire alarm, nurse call, and pneumatic tube, and flag opportunities for energy savings Extend your reach beyond the shop floor, coordinating repairs and projects with other shops and outside contractors Drive accountability by reviewing work orders and PM documentation for accuracy and completion Share on-call duty with engineering and maintenance staff on a rotating basis

    Required Qualifications

    HS diploma or GED preferred 3 to 5 years of relevant maintenance or facilities experience Valid Maryland driver's license with a good driving record required Experience with building controls, HVAC, electrical, or facilities management systems preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
