Maintenance Specialist| Columbus| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

 

 

Compensation:

  • Starting pay rate of $21.85-$36.50
  • $1.00 Shift differential
  • Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases
  • Eligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity*

 

Available Shift: 

  • 3:50pm-12:00am (Monday-Friday)

Essential Duties and Responsibilties:

  • The primary job function consists of the maintenance and repair of all mechanical, electrical and electronic components of the plant equipment and facilities.
  • This will include installation, set up, maintenance and repair of all equipment related to plant operation, services and facilities.
  • Other duties include diagnosis, repair, and/or replace electrical components as necessary.
  •  Assist in upgrades of process control equipment as new technology develops.
  • Maintain an understanding of the latest state of the art control systems.
  • Will assist the shift Operators by performing repairs on mechanical systems when needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Analytical, problem solving, and strong technical skills including electrical and PLC programming.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels in the organization.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent; preferred associates degree
  • 3+ years technician experience within plastics industry
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Effective communications skills, both written and verbal.
