    Maintenance Specialist – 2nd Shift

    Location: Frankfort, KY
    Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM
    Salary: $34.00–$37.00/hour

    About the Role

    Join a manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Specialist responsible for keeping 75–100 machines operational across 10 different equipment types. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with an emphasis on PLC systems and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment issues
    • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance using specialized tools and equipment
    • Troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and electronic controls
    • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints
    • Repair and rebuild electronic circuit boards and control panels
    • Document all maintenance activities for record-keeping and future reference
    • Conduct building electrical, construction, and security equipment maintenance
    • Operate forklifts as needed
    • Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma
    • 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair methods
    • Proficiency with PLC ladder logic and text-based control system programming
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
    • Strong organizational skills to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime
    • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
    • Valid driver's license

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Automotive manufacturing experience
    • PLC Technician Certificate
    • Forklift Certification
