Our full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical benefits beginning the 1st of the month following 30 days of employmentHealth, Dental & Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysOpportunities for professional growth and advancementKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Service Technician, you will:Perform maintenance and repairs throughout the apartment community.Respond to service requests promptly and efficiently, with the goal of completing requests within one business day under normal circumstances.Complete apartment make-readies, including debris removal, repairs, replacements, painting, lock and key rotation, and inspections.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical components, and other property systems.Perform preventative maintenance and complete required quarterly and semi-annual maintenance reports.Perform maintenance and operational tasks on swimming pool equipment.Complete interior and exterior painting as needed.Maintain an organized, clean, inventoried, and adequately stocked maintenance shop.Ensure appropriate supplies are available for make-readies, service requests, and routine maintenance.Provide technical guidance to other maintenance personnel as needed.Identify maintenance concerns and assist with maintaining the overall condition and appearance of the community.Participate in the 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call rotation.Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of related maintenance experience preferred.HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.Strong knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and repair.Working knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical appliance repair.Basic competency in:ElectricalRefrigerationPlumbingCarpentryAppliance repairIrrigation systemsPool operation and maintenance experience preferred.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.Dependable with a professional attitude and strong customer-service skills.Must be available for on-call emergency maintenance.Physical RequirementsCandidates must be able to perform the physical requirements of this hands-on maintenance position, including:Lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.Bend, stoop, kneel, and twist into small or confined areas.Reach overhead for extended periods while performing repairs.Safely perform physical maintenance tasks throughout the apartment community.Join Our Maintenance Team!If you're an experienced maintenance professional who knows how to troubleshoot problems, complete quality repairs, and keep an apartment community running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today to join RichSmith Management as an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician in Cabot, AR!
