Maintenance & Reliability Team Lead — Pierceton, IN
Compensation: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour + shift differential

You’re the steady hand when the line falters. As the 2nd-shift Maintenance & Reliability Team Lead, you’ll guide the crew through the evening hours—balancing urgent fixes with smart, preventative work—so production stays on track and equipment runs at its best.
A day on 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Kick off with a quick huddle to align priorities. As production ramps, you triage calls, jump on tough diagnostics, and coach technicians through mechanical and electrical repairs. You coordinate PMs, partner with Production to minimize downtime, and document what’s done—closing the night with a clear handoff to Maintenance Management.
How you’ll make an impact
- Lead daily maintenance activities for the 2nd shift and set clear priorities
- Assign and adjust work based on real-time production requirements
- Provide hands-on support during breakdowns and complex troubleshooting
- Guide technicians on mechanical and electrical repairs
- Own preventative maintenance coordination and completion
- Diagnose repeat issues and help drive corrective actions
- Partner with Production to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Communicate completed work, open issues, and next steps to Maintenance Management
- Support reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Uphold rigorous safety practices and high workmanship standards
What you bring
- Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background as a Maintenance Lead, Senior Technician, or similar lead role
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting capability
- Hands-on experience with industrial production equipment repairs
- Ability to prioritize multiple issues and make sound independent decisions
- Clear communicator and effective team leader
- Comfortable staying hands-on while directing technicians
- Allen Bradley PLC, CNC, or die casting equipment experience is a plus
Schedule details
- 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Every other weekend rotation
- Overtime opportunities available
- Friday hours may extend during weekend coverage
