Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations

Picture the first hour of your shift: you walk the floor, check overnight logs, and huddle with your technicians to sequence work across equipment, buildings, and grounds. A critical conveyor is due for PM, a facilities upgrade is in motion, and a weekend storm requires quick grounds remediation. You orchestrate the plan—who does what, when, and with which tools—so production never misses a beat.

What youll tackle

• Direct the skilled utilization of your maintenance team to care for plant machinery, the facility, and surrounding grounds.
• Develop, train, and inspire technicians to peak efficiency, high productivity, strong cooperation, and outstanding morale.
• Own preventive maintenance programs set schedules, monitor completion, and continuously improve PM effectiveness.
• Review production schedules and align maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruption.
• Lead off-hour emergency responses to stabilize damage and return equipment to service safely and quickly.
• Champion plant maintenance policies and procedures and ensure team-wide adherence.
• Carry out full managerial responsibilities: recruit/interview/hire, coach and develop, plan/assign/direct work, uphold EEO/AA standards, manage performance, and oversee the department budget.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in assembly or machining environments.
• Working knowledge across manufacturing maintenance domains: machinery, carpentry, electrical, and related trades.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot practical issues and navigate diverse personnel and maintenance challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and motivate a diverse workforce.
• Fluency in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.
