    Your impact roadmap

    First 90 days

    • Assess asset health and maintenance history; establish a prioritized list of chronic bad actors informed by production loss and maintenance cost data.
    • Lead rapid RCAs on top failure modes and launch corrective actions.
    • Partner with Maintenance and Operations to baseline OEE and availability targets.

    By 6 months

    • Deploy targeted reliability projects that increase uptime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
    • Refine PM and PdM strategies, leveraging vibration, thermography, ultrasonic inspections, and oil analysis.
    • Embed reliability and maintainability into Management of Change for new/modified equipment.

    By 12 months

    • Eliminate repeat failures with permanent solutions and document lessons learned.
    • Institutionalize practices that enhance safety, maximize availability, and position assets for strategic growth.
    • Establish a cadence with Automation, Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to resolve short-term issues while executing long-term plans.

    How you’ll execute

    • Provide technical leadership to advance reliability excellence initiatives.
    • Use data and statistical tools to prioritize and validate improvements.
    • Collaborate across disciplines to mitigate recurring breakdowns with robust strategies.
    • Champion continuous improvement across the facility.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related preferred).
    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or maintenance.
    • Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred; practiced with 6S, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence.
    • Strong analytical skill set with proficiency in statistical analysis.
    • Exceptional communicator; proven ability to coordinate diverse teams.
    • Energetic change agent with a positive attitude.
    • Highly organized; disciplined prioritization of competing demands.
    • Mechanical/electrical aptitude; expert in RCA, FMEA, and 5-Why problem solving.
    • Confident decision-maker; applies critical thinking in complex, fast-moving environments.
    • Able to provide constructive feedback and simplify complex concepts into clear, facilitative steps; strong presenter.

    Work environment

    Operate in a fast-moving setting with multiple concurrent projects and strict deadlines while supporting many internal stakeholders.

    • Exposure at times to dust, oil, grease, heat/humidity, fumes, and noise.
    • Use of PPE in manufacturing areas (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection as required).
    • Occasional access to walled containment areas and roofs; conditions may be extremely hot or cold.
