Job Description:

As an integral member of the Reliability Maintenance Department, the

Maintenance Planning Supervisor leads a team of Maintenance Planners that

plan and schedule maintenance to optimize production uptime and productivity

of maintenance teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Main communication contact between maintenance teams and operations regarding planned maintenance.

Review and screen incoming work requests to identify the scope and

analyze required planning of the job.

Review incoming work requests with support teams and operations leaders to verify the request is needed.

Review technician follow-up work and partner with support group leaders

to verify the follow-up work is needed.

Convert work requests and follow-ups into work orders and define priority

level.

Supervises a team of Maintenance Planners. Performs role specific training

and conducts performance reviews for continuous employee development.

Conduct field walk downs to identify and document job requirements to

include, lock-out tag-out instructions, materials required, specific tasks, and

other specialized equipment.

Estimates time duration and labor requirements for jobs and verifies it is

planned with sequenced steps with the required number of technicians

and labor.

Plans all required material to work orders, verified material is correct, and

ensures it is properly kitted before the scheduled work is to be performed.

Leads and conducts weekly meetings with operations and maintenance

team leadership to create a weekly maintenance schedule.

Assigns all work out to maintenance teams and verifies assignments are

correct before the scheduled week of maintenance begins.

Verify that there is an adequate amount of scheduled work orders and

work orders ready to be scheduled in accordance to the amount of labor

available at all times.

Reviews the previous maintenance schedule and re-schedules incomplete

work accordingly.

Maintains and audits the work order backlog that is waiting to be

scheduled and planned.

Coordinate and communicate with outside vendors for any outsourced

work orders to be scheduled.

Creates detailed and specific job plans that are documented for routine

maintenance in collaboration with support teams.

Performs audits of preventive maintenance plans on a routine basis.

Creates, monitors, and implements Key Performance Indicators for the

Maintenance Planning team.

Recommends appropriate inventory levels of spare parts and additional

parts to be inventoried.

Participates within the Reliability Maintenance Department on

recommending asset and proactive maintenance improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.

Ability to become certified in operating a forklift, overhead crane and respirator.

Ability to read and write in English to complete required documentation.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google applications.

Ability to supervise employees.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

3+ years' experience with maintenance, parts or planning.

3+ years' experience in management or supervision.

Systems: 3+ years' experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance

Management or ERP System.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical two-year degree or equivalent experience in maintenance planning or maintenance.

Good organizational, planning and multi-tasking skills.

Critical thinking, process and troubleshooting skills.

Mathematical and administrative skills.

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Push/pull 100 lbs.

Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 9 hours, with

intermittent breaks

Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria

Occasionally work in wet and/or humid conditions

Work in a non-climate controlled environment

Climb in and out of a forklift multiple times throughout shift

Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift

Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:

Steel toed boots

Hearing Protection

Safety glasses

Cut-proof gloves

Latex gloves

Face shield

High visibility vest

Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
