Job description

We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Middle East LLC Doha, Qatar for a MAINTENANCE PLANNING ENGINEER ELECTRICAL- Prime responsibility for carrying out the planning of daily maintenance activities with primary responsibility to ensure 'right-first-time' job performance so that equipment reliability is maximized, while improving maintenance 'tool time', 'work quality' by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor and non-labor resources including materials and services.

  • The role is expected to be able to remove uncertainty to execute planning in a systematic, efficient and economical way with forecasted maintenance job planning approach.
  • He or she should be able to independently develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work to meet budgets and schedules.

Planning Engineer shall have Competency and work experience in SAP Maintenance module, preferably in SAP S4-HANA including order planning, Purchase requisition, service entry sheets, call-off orders, service orders, Maintenance related Master data creation, updation, deletion etc.

Profile

Bachelor's Engineering degree (12+4 years) Electrical 10 years relevant experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry and competency *Hands-on experience of the Work order part of EAM (enterprise asset maintenance) module of SAP would be preferable. Competency and work experience in ERP - SAP, preferably in SAP S4-HANA including Competency and work experience in Maintenance related Master data creation, master data updating, master data deletion etc in SAP. You are fluent in English with both written and verbal communication. You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
