Maintenance Planner
Pay: $24/hour
Hours: 6 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. M-F
Our client is seeking a Maintenance Planner & Analyst to oversee end-to-end maintenance workflows, optimize equipment reliability, and support inventory accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Create, schedule, and prioritize preventive, predictive, and corrective work orders in alignment with production downtime windows.
- Systems & Analytics: Maintain the CMMS, manage equipment records, track key KPIs (downtime, MTBF/MTTR, PM compliance), and support root cause analyses for recurring issues.
- Materials & Inventory: Forecast MRO spare parts, assist with cycle counts, and collaborate with purchasing and planning to ensure material availability without overstocking.
- Operations Support: Coordinate work with internal technicians and external contractors; assist with raw/packaging inventory management as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years in maintenance planning or a related manufacturing role (food manufacturing experience strongly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CMMS/ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) and proficiency in basic data analysis/spreadsheets.
- Core Competencies: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; comfortable balancing office tasks with plant-floor activity.
- Certifications/Extras (Preferred): Familiarity with GMP/food safety standards; CMRP, APICS/CPIM, or equivalent certifications.
