    Description

    Location Ishpeming MICleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Planner at our Tilden Mine site. This role is responsible for contributing to the maintenance team by overseeing and coordinating all aspects of mechanical maintenance planning andor supervising in the Tilden plant.Our ideal candidate will be accountable for safe work and operating practices hard-working self-driven goal oriented and resilient.Summary of ResponsibilitiesEnsures that all department work is performed in a safe manner and that all work areas are maintained to meet all MSHA standards.Generates a work plan including daily and weekly schedules.Provides input into budgeting.Ensures that the weekly maintenance plan is communicated and planned per MPS standards.Responsible for the quality execution of work and reports and recommends solutions to deviations from the plan.Develops work package for various levels of outages.Performs inspections to ensure equipment health is maintained.Orders all necessary parts and materials to complete the work plan.Ensures that all necessary parts are pre-positioned and or delivered to the job site prior to commencement of the job.Works with the supervisor to ensure that all work orders are closed when completed.Updates equipment history equipment component tracking APLs in a timely mannerCommunicates feedback requirements for each repair.Works with the supervisors craft worktechnicians and reliability engineers to ensure the equipment improvement activities are occurring.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.Supervisory experience or previous experience in a similar role.Ability to read and comprehend Gantt charts and use CMMS software training provided.Preferred Qualification2-4 year technical degree or equivalent.2-4 years experience in an industrial setting.Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
