Procurement, Receiving & Vendor Management
Create and manage purchase requisitions for parts, supplies, and contractor services.
Verify parts meet plant, food safety, and hygienic design requirements.
Coordinate receiving, inspection, documentation, and inventory transactions for incoming materials.
Department liaison for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities.
Hazardous Gas & Chemical
Coordinate with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) teams to ensure proper handling and emergency procedures.
Ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals and gases.
Coordinate refresher training on safe handling, PPE requirements, and spill response protocols.
Schedule and oversee periodic inspections and audits of chemical storage areas.
Work Planning/Scheduling
Create, maintain, and improve PMs aligned with OEM recommendations, sanitation cycles, and food safety requirements.
Review equipment history with supervisor to optimize PM frequencies and tasks.
Ensure PM execution and documentation supports GMP and FSSC compliance.
Plan and scope corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance work.
Contribute to weekly maintenance schedules in coordination with Operations, Quality, and Sanitation.
Develop vendor/contractor scopes of work detailing food safety and safety requirements.
Maintain CMMS data accuracy in asset and PM records.
Administrative and Compliance Support
Generate department reports, track KPIs, and communicate with stakeholders.
Assist with audits, inspections, and documentation for regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, FSSC, SQF).
Support onboarding and training of new maintenance staff regarding stockroom and hazardous material procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Work Environment:
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations, and occasional outdoor conditions. Work schedules could include nights, weekends and/or holidays to provide the ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as business needs dictate.

Ensure adherence to plant standards and procedures (including but not limited to GMP, AIB, FDA, IWS, Quality, Safety, Finance, ISO, HOPE, Danone Behaviors, Daily Direction Setting, Driving OE). As a fundamental piece of the organization, your responsibility is to participate and own the implementation and deployment of IWS system and its pillars (Leadership foundation, Daily Direction Setting, Driving OE; Autonomous Maintenance; planned Maintenance; Focused Improvement; Education and Training; Environmental, Health and Safety; Quality; Organization; Supply Network; Early Equipment Management) with the objective of owning your space, owning your performance (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, Nature) and owning your continuous improvement.
Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role is: $85K - $95K.
