Description

As we continue to expand our operations, we are adding a Maintenance Technician to our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, consistent, and reliable operation of company equipment. This role performs hands-on maintenance and repairs while supporting preventative maintenance programs, safety compliance, and operational continuity.

Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 per hour. Starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and/or repair facility equipment to resolve all issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections.
  • Coordinate with vendors and management regarding quotes/bids of large projects and or repair work
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and safely stored.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance issues and after-hours emergencies as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies.
  • Proactively identify and address safety hazards within facilities and work areas.
  • Support compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to facility operations.
  • Assist with safety inspections, audits, and corrective action plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in facilities, industrial, warehouse, or commercial environments.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems.
  • Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience leading or supervising maintenance or facilities staff.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or large maintenance projects.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
  • OSHA certification or safety training (or willingness to obtain).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
