Now Hiring: Maintenance Mechanic
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM4:30 PM, with rotating weekend on-call responsibilities
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical skills, takes pride in quality workmanship, and works well independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Repair motors, AC/DC drives, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Maintain overhead cranes, bridges, hoists, heating systems, and boilers.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and general building maintenance.
- Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and equipment manuals.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of basic hydraulic experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of basic three-phase electrical experience.
- Knowledge of single-phase electrical systems, AC/DC drives, and PLCs.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to read schematics.
- Experience with motors, welding, fabrication, and building maintenance preferred.
- Basic computer skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and participate in rotating weekend on-call coverage.
