    Job Description:
    The Facilities Maintenance Technician I- supports the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of building systems, utilities, and infrastructure at a regulated pharmaceutical oral solid dose (OSD) manufacturing site. This hands-on role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical; plumbing, HVAC, purified water, refrigeration, and facility support systems. Responsibilities include component-level troubleshooting, environmental system monitoring, contractor oversight, and support for emergency response systems including backup power generation.
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform routine facility and utility maintenance activities
    • Support HVAC, purified water, compressed air, plumbing, and electrical systems
    • Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
    • Perform basic repairs, filter changes, lamp replacement, and troubleshooting
    • Maintain CMMS documentation and complete work orders accurately
    • Support contractor/vendor activities and ensure GMP/safety compliance
    • Follow EHS procedures including LOTO and PPE requirements
    • Respond to alarms, breakdowns, and emergency maintenance needs
    • Support housekeeping and general facility upkeep as needed

    Requirements:

    • 0 2 years of maintenance or facility support experience in manufacturing/pharma preferred.
    • High School Diploma or GED required.

    Mandatory Skills & Requirements:

    • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or utility systems.
    • Familiarity with hand tools, PPE, and safe work practices.
    • Basic CMMS and documentation knowledge.
    • Understanding of GMP/GDP and safety procedures (LOTO preferred).
    • Ability to read SOPs and follow technical instructions.
    • Willingness to work flexible/on-call schedules when required.
