A leading company specializing in vehicle and equipment maintenance is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic. This full-time role is based in Spring, TX, and requires candidates to live within a 30-minute radius. The company offers a vehicle and tools for work, supporting ongoing facility management and repairs.
Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Manage the mechanical and electrical upkeep of multiple wash locations, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Schedule and coordinate repairs and projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Order parts and maintain stock levels for ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns with effective repairs.
- Record maintenance activities and repairs using a computerized management system or spreadsheets.
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least five years of experience in industrial or commercial maintenance and repair.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders comfortably.
- Experience working with 480-volt electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting; welding skills are a plus.
