    Description

    HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the beverage manufacturing industry!

    Shift: 12-hour shifts, 6 am to 6 pm 2-2-3 schedule

    Pay: $28-29 an hour

    Location: Quincy, IL

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment while following all safety procedures
    • Troubleshoot and repair production-related equipment, including regrind equipment, dehumidifiers, cooling tower pumps, recirculation pumps, water chillers, and high-pressure air compressors
    • Conduct routine maintenance and preventive maintenance on all equipment
    • Complete equipment maintenance logs and related documentation accurately
    • Assist with work orders, equipment changeovers, and minor repair projects
    • Ensure production equipment operates at optimal efficiency
    • Maintain a clean and safe work area
    • Follow all safety policies and support a culture of safety, integrity, and teamwork
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Education Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Minimum of two (2) years of work-related experience or training preferred
    • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
    • Computer experience preferred

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
    • Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
    • Ability to plan and execute minor repair and maintenance projects
    • Proficiency with standard maintenance tools and safe work practices
    • Preventative maintenance expertise, including identifying and addressing equipment issues
    • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
