Description

  • Troubleshooting/ finding root issue of mechanical/electrical breakdown.
  • Perform repairs with limited or no assistance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks on mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Analyzes, and works from blueprints, drawings, or specs.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
  • As an essential function of this position, the technician is required to participate in a scheduled on-call rotation. During assigned on-call periods, the employee must remain accessible by phone or other designated communication methods and be prepared to respond to and resolve technical, maintenance, or operational issues. This may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours outside the employee's regular work schedule.
  • Timely response and, when necessary, reporting to the worksite or providing remote support are required to ensure continuity of operations and minimize service disruptions.

HJF is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to be responsible for installation and repairs that maintain a safe and operational work environment. This position will be in support of the Uniformed Services University Facilities department, located in Bethesda, MD.
