For your awareness, IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredients business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners. Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems throughout the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, PLC-controlled systems, instrumentation, sensors, motors, drives, and associated control devices.
  • Calibrate, tune, install, and commission instrumentation and process control equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Support production and other departments by diagnosing equipment failures and recommending corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, including work orders, calibration records, spare parts usage, and equipment history files.
  • Update electrical drawings, control schematics, P&IDs, and maintenance records to reflect equipment modifications and process changes.
  • Assist with mechanical repairs and inspections involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems as required.
  • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, performing required safety checks, and supporting food safety and quality programs.
  • Communicate maintenance priorities, pending repairs, and shift handoffs effectively with team members and management.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical training in Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and instrumentation systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, electrical controls, sensors, instrumentation, motor controls, and process automation equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control drawings, and P&IDs.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance, calibration, and equipment inspections.
  • Understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and completing maintenance documentation.
  • Ability and willingness to work a permanent night shift schedule of Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM..

How You Would Stand Out

  • Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working in food, ingredients, chemical, or process manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of ISO, food safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.
