Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Work Environment:  Indoor office and outdoor duties
Equipment Used:  normal hand tools, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Edge
Dress Code:  Jeans or Khaki type trousers, closed toed shoes

Candidate Responsibilities:

·       HVAC Maintenance/Repairs

·       Electrical Maintenance/Repair

·       Renovations

·       Furniture relocations

·       Equipment Maintenance/Repair

·       Vehicle Maintenance

·       Outside Grounds Maintenance

Skills / Experience Required:

·       Experience in general building maintenance

·       Experience in outside building maintenance

·       Ability to use a computer, experience using Microsoft

·       Must have a Valid Driver's License

Required skills: 

·       Ability to speak and understand English

·       Experience in general building maintenance/repair, washing windows, sweeping mopping, taking out trash

·       Experience in general plumbing maintenance/repair, changing fixtures, addressing blocked toilets

·       Experience in HVAC maintenance/repair, changing filters, flushing lines

·       Experience in electrical maintenance/repair, changing light switches, bulbs, trouble shooting

·       Experience in renovations, patching holes, caulking, painting

·       Experience using general lawn maintenance equipment, including climbing a ladder, using trimmers and mowing, chain saws

·       Experience in vehicle maintenance, including checking fluids, washing, properly inflating tire pressures

·       Do you have experience in HVAC/VAV systems and its basic operation?

·       Will you be able to handle clean up tasks involving biomedical waste within our facilities, and trash from the grounds including dead birds, soiled diapers, and trash?
