Maintenance Mechanic

HiFyve is hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry in Kansas City, MO!

Salary: Up to $38/hr

Shift: Fri/Sat - 5a - 5p and then Sun/Mon 5p-5a

Location: Kansas City, MO

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and fixtures
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks to minimize downtime
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with equipment
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Investigate recurring maintenance problems and recommend corrective actions
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment performance
• Utilize manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting
• Provide support during equipment installations or upgrades

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical certification or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, or related field (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed
