Job Description
WORKFORCE is actively recruiting 13 experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for Request Foods, a food manufacturing company located in Holland, Michigan!
We are looking for dependable, mechanically skilled individuals who enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production operations running safely and efficiently.
Experience in food manufacturing or food processing maintenance is highly preferred! Candidates with strong industrial maintenance backgrounds in other manufacturing environments are also encouraged to apply.
If you have experience repairing manufacturing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical or electrical systems, or maintaining automated production machinery, we want to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
- Repair and replace motors, bearings, belts, conveyors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components.
- Maintain and troubleshoot automated production and packaging equipment.
- Identify equipment failures and recommend solutions to improve reliability.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Complete maintenance documentation and communicate equipment concerns.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Follow workplace safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and food manufacturing sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
Preferred Experience
- Previous industrial maintenance or maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Food manufacturing or food processing maintenance experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, motors, sensors, and control systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and automated equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Understanding of preventative maintenance procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
- Reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and attention to workplace safety.

Compensation & Benefits
