Shift: Must be able to work all shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
- Swing Shift: 2:00 PM 10:00 PM
- Night Shift: 10:00 PM 6:00 AM
Important Information
- Training will be conducted on the day shift for 2 3 weeks.
- This is a union site, and schedules are assigned based on operational needs.
- Candidates must be fully cleared before starting.
- Interviews are required.
- Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for providing mechanical and electrical maintenance support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment installation, and machine maintenance to ensure safe and reliable production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
- Work with motors, drives, pumps, relays, servos, PLCs, and power transmission systems.
- Maintain maintenance records using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Support equipment installation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all plant safety procedures and company policies.
- Work independently and as part of the maintenance team.
Required Qualifications
- 2 3 years of electro-mechanical maintenance or automation troubleshooting experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently in a professional manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military maintenance experience.
- Technical or vocational school training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
