We are looking for a
Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and grounds. This position will perform preventive maintenance, minor machine repairs, equipment troubleshooting, and assist with equipment installation, relocation, and modifications.
This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and assigned maintenance work orders to keep production equipment running reliably.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Assist with installation, relocation, and modification of production equipment and work cells.
- Install and maintain utilities needed for equipment operation.
- Work with the Chief Engineer on equipment and facility projects.
- Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and proper equipment startup/shutdown procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized and safe condition.
- Support facility and grounds maintenance as needed.
- Complete required maintenance training and coursework to continue developing technical skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 10 years of facilities and equipment maintenance experience.
- 3–5 years of product, process, or manufacturing engineering experience.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Demonstrated experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Hydraulics
- Welding
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Good oral, written, and technical communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Basic math skills and good manual dexterity.
