We are looking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic I - 1st Shift immediately at our South Bend Plant in South Bend, Indiana.

POSITION OVERVIEW
- Under the direction of the Team Manager, the Mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical equipment and making repairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshooting and repairs
- Machine adjustments with tools
- Minor fabrication of parts
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Read schematics and blueprints
- Preventive maintenance
- Product changeover
- Valve rebuilds.
- Implement ideas to improve line efficiencies
- Quality checks
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have at least three (3) years industrial maintenance experience.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be very detail oriented and have strong interpersonal, communication and team based skills.
- Being a self-starter as well as a problem-solver are required assets.
