Schedule: 3rd Shift | 9:30 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay: $28.00 – $32.00/hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire or Contract-to-Permanent

Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will provide technical support and be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and rebuilding production machinery. This position will also perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns in a professional and timely manner while following all required safety protocols.

Candidates should have working knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and be comfortable independently troubleshooting and completing maintenance assignments.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Repair, maintain, and rebuild production equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
Respond to calls from production and management for equipment repairs
Perform established preventative maintenance programs
Coordinate maintenance activities with production to minimize disruption to production output and packaging
Assist with new equipment installations
Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects
Maintain accurate and complete departmental records
Prioritize maintenance needs based on urgency
Escalate more complex issues when necessary

Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
Working knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Strong preventative maintenance experience
Safe work habits, including proper LOTO and OSHA requirements
Ability to troubleshoot and work independently
Must have and be able to work with personal maintenance tools
