Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic with experience in electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting to help keep our production equipment running safely and efficiently in a food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
• Inspect equipment and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and startup projects.
• Follow maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor spare parts inventory and request replacements as needed.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
• Support continuous improvement efforts for equipment reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or packaging preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
