Provide general oversight and responsibility for equipment and personnel within assigned building.
The Maintenance Mechanic will strive to promote efficiency in all aspects of his/her building. Uptime, labor hours, repairs, and PM completion will be tracked and evaluated against enterprise and national benchmarks. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality standards.
Be on time
Have excellent attendance
Meet or exceed plant up-time goal of 98%.
Maintain building call response time of 2 minutes or less.
Actively patrol assigned building to proactively address equipment issues.
Report all major issues to Chief Engineer and Production Manager. Assist with resolution.
Establish and maintain positive working relationship between building maintenance crew and production team.
Completion at 100%.
Other duties as needed or assigned.

This position may at times be physically demanding. Lifting and moving of objects heavier than 50lbs can be expected regularly.
The plant environment may be quite warm during certain times of the year. Ability to walk and stand for entire shift is necessary.
