Job Summary: The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining ReadyFlo's production equipment, fleet vehicles, shop facilities, and grounds to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.Responsibilities:Partner with Operations and Production to ensure equipment reliability, maximize uptime, and support the safe, efficient completion of customer projects.Perform preventive maintenance inspections and minor repairs on company equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, company vehicles, trailers, welding machines, air compressors, generators, pressure washers, and other production equipment.Maintain maximum equipment uptime by executing preventive maintenance, responding quickly to equipment issues, and continuously improving equipment reliability to support safe operations, production schedules, and on-time customer deliveries.Develop, maintain, and execute the Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program for company equipment, fleet vehicles, and facility assets.Repair and maintain power tools, shop equipment, and other production-related equipment.Perform routine maintenance on building systems, including repairs to the shop and offices, as well as yard maintenance, such as mowing, weed trimming, and general upkeep.Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.Assist with production projects, including pipe assembly and equipment operation.Maintain accurate maintenance records, PM documentation, and Gemba Boards.Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities:Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.Ability to work well independently and with others.Hydraulic system experience.Basic electrical troubleshooting.Good communication skills.Pneumatic system experience.Computer skills for maintenance records.Organized with attention to detail.Knowledge of general carpentry and equipment use and repair.Ability to follow instructions from supervisor.Preferred QUalifications:5+ years of industrial maintenance experienceManufacturing or fabrication shop experience Forklift certification preferred Valid driver's license Experience maintaining fleet equipment Ability to operate heavy equipment safelyPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions while completing maintenance and repairs. Ability to climb ladders and safely work from elevated platforms and lifts. Ability to maintain balance and coordination while working at various heights and around equipment. Ability to perform overhead work and work in various positions while servicing equipment and machinery. Ability to use hands and fingers to handle, grip, operate, and repair tools, equipment, and mechanical components. Ability to visually inspect equipment, machinery, and components to identify maintenance and repair needs. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull equipment and materials as required. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to safely enter and exit company vehicles, forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment. Ability to work around moving machinery, vehicles, and production equipment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including heat, cold, noise, dust, and other conditions typical of a manufacturing and fabrication environment.
