Maintenance Mechanic - Immediate Need
Overview
We're looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to support food & beverage manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and packaging equipment. This role is responsible for keeping equipment running safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, pumps, valves, and compressors
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs
- Support CIP systems and food-grade manufacturing requirements
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation in the CMMS
- Follow all safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures
Must-Haves
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
- Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance experience
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience using hand and power tools
- CMMS experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred
- Beverage, food, or dairy manufacturing experience
- Experience with fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, pumps, and compressors
- Welding, fabrication, or machining experience
- Maintenance Connection experience
