Maintenance Mechanic

Your expertise will be crucial in assuring the smooth running of production equipment through a combination of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and systematic repairs.

Core Duties:
- Execute routine optimization of production equipment based on technical manuals and engineering guidelines.
- Diagnose and address machinery issues through technical expertise and appropriate repairs.
- Sustain HVAC system performance for optimal climate control.
- Conduct facilities maintenance and improve infrastructure including buildings and grounds.
- Engage in various essential maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and painting.
- Repair and calibrate locks and fittings in storage spaces.
- Support logistics by assisting in the setup and relocation of machinery and furniture.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication regarding maintenance workflows and equipment conditions.
- Keep workspaces tidy, organized, and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent achievement.
- At least five years of applied experience in a related field, demonstrating technical competence.
- Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical system maintenance, as well as HVAC system knowledge.
- Exposure to ERP software, particularly Epicor 10, adds value.
- Certified forklift operation is advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with multitasking capability.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, with robust communication skills in English. Spanish skills are beneficial.

Physical Qualifications:
- Capability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
- Dexterity for climbing and repetitive tasks.
- Endurance for extended standing or sitting periods.
- Quick response to audio signals in hazardous situations.
- Effective verbal communication both in-person and over the phone.
