Job Details

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support production equipment and facility systems at our on-site operation in Albia, Iowa.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Repair or replace motors, bearings, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, and related components
• Read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
• Document completed work and communicate equipment status to production partners
• Follow lockout/tagout and all plant safety procedures
• Support equipment installation and continuous-improvement projects

Qualifications:

• Prior industrial maintenance, maintenance mechanic, millwright, or related experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with operations and engineering teams
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus
