Job Summary
Oversees and coordinates all non-production inventory, including spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies to ensure availability and accuracy in support of maintenance and facility operations. This role maintains organized inventory systems, supports internal teams, and ensures efficient material flow to sustain manufacturing reliability.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

MRO Inventory Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems
  • Monitor usage trends and adjust stock levels to reduce excess inventory
  • Receive, store, and organize MRO materials according to procedures
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Support repairable parts management and inventory optimization initiatives

Material Handling

  • Issue parts and consumables following company procedures
  • Operate pallet jacks and approved material handling equipment
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials

MRO Centre Organization

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized MRO Centre
  • Improve storage layout and efficiency
  • Remove obsolete or damaged materials per guidelines

Operational & Customer Support

  • Respond to internal requests for maintenance supplies and parts
  • Support maintenance activities, shutdowns, and equipment installations
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and MRO staff across shifts

Documentation & Reporting

  • Record inventory transactions and adjustments
  • Support reporting, audits, and compliance requirements
  • Maintain KPI performance related to inventory accuracy and availability

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of MRO inventory and maintenance operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • ERP system experience; CMMS preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple shifts
