Description

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and optimization of operational assets within our facility, ensuring compliance with all legal standards while driving reliability and efficiency. The position involves strategic collaboration with operational teams to meet both immediate and long-term objectives for plant performance. You will introduce transformational changes aimed at optimizing performance and minimizing downtime, employing continuous improvement methodologies for optimal asset management and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient maintenance and repair processes that align with environmental health and safety objectives, ensuring adherence to company standards and inventory protocols.
- Initiate continuous improvement strategies to close operational gaps, assessing risks and reducing potential losses to staff, equipment, and plant operations.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive performance monitoring framework, focusing on enhancing asset reliability and troubleshooting issues, while sharing insights locally and regionally.
- Formulate a strategic reliability plan to boost operational capabilities, oversee maintenance expenditure in line with reliability best practices, and participate in capital planning and project execution.
- Lead a team of skilled professionals, making strategic decisions in hiring, talent management, and team development to meet the evolving needs of the business.
- Perform additional duties as required to support organizational success.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to influence and foster collaborative partnerships across organizational levels.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local and regional safety, health, and environmental guidelines.
- At least five years of experience within a food manufacturing environment, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) accreditation.
- Formal training in predictive maintenance technologies.
