Description

In this role, you will be entrusted with directing the maintenance strategy to maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime at our facility. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving a culture geared towards excellence in plant performance and efficiency through streamlining maintenance operations. You will play a crucial role in minimizing unforeseen disruptions and optimizing scheduled shutdowns by leveraging cutting-edge continuous improvement methodologies.

**Principal Responsibilities**
- Lead and refine maintenance and repair procedures, focusing on workforce efficiency and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Implement an ongoing enhancement strategy aimed at recognizing and closing operational gaps to mitigate risks to personnel and equipment.
- Establish and manage a performance tracking system that evaluates and enhances asset reliability and communicates outcomes on both local and regional scales.
- Formulate a comprehensive, long-term strategic plan to sustain and improve operational efficiencies and apply reliability metrics to track plant maintenance expenses and bolster facility performance.
- Provide key insights into capital planning processes, ensuring resource allocation is optimized for reliability and maintainability.

**Qualifications Required**
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Solid interpersonal skills to cultivate relationships across various organizational tiers.
- In-depth understanding of regional safety and environmental regulations.
- At least five years of relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Minimum two years of leadership experience in a supervisory capacity within a food manufacturing setting.

**Desirable Attributes**
- Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) credential.
- Training in predictive maintenance methodologies.
