    Salary: $100,000-$130,000/year + 10% Bonus

    About the Role

    We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations in a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, employee development, and continuous improvement while ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the facility.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Lead and develop the maintenance team to ensure reliable operation of plant equipment and facility systems
    • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset life
    • Ensure maintenance activities are properly planned and scheduled using the CMMS to maximize labor efficiency and equipment availability
    • Monitor equipment performance and implement strategies to improve uptime, productivity, and maintenance effectiveness
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency maintenance issues and critical equipment failures
    • Partner with Engineering and Operations to identify equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capital projects
    • Evaluate new equipment proposals and provide recommendations based on cost, reliability, and operational impact
    • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies to support efficient plant operations while controlling costs
    • Develop and monitor maintenance budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support capital planning initiatives
    • Establish maintenance procedures, best practices, and performance standards that support world-class maintenance operations
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food safety standards, GMPs, environmental requirements, and company policies
    • Lead hiring, coaching, performance management, scheduling, and employee development while fostering a strong safety and continuous improvement culture


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and maintenance leadership experience
    • 5+ years of maintenance, mechanical engineering, or industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
    • Previous leadership or management experience leading maintenance teams
    • Food and beverage manufacturing experience preferred; dairy manufacturing experience is a plus
    • Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs
    • Knowledge of CMMS systems, maintenance planning, and maintenance best practices
    • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, utilities, and facility systems
    • Experience managing maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and capital improvement projects
    • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Technical certifications in electrical, welding, refrigeration, boilers, wastewater, plumbing, or related trades are a plus
    • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
