This role blends hands-on technical expertise with strong people leadership. You’ll develop technicians, manage PM programs, partner with Operations/Engineering, and build a maintenance culture focused on uptime, safety, and continuous improvement.

    What You’ll Lead

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians.

    • Build mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting capabilities.

    • Maintain industrial equipment in safe, reliable condition.

    • Build and manage preventive maintenance schedules.

    • Coordinate PMs with Production and ensure technicians have parts, documentation, and direction.

    • Maintain accurate work orders, equipment records, and safety documentation.

    • Manage critical spare parts and inventory levels.

    Cross‑Functional Partnership

    • Work closely with Operations on equipment performance and maintenance priorities.

    • Participate in plant leadership meetings.

    • Identify reliability, safety, and cost‑improvement opportunities.

    • Support Engineering on capital projects and equipment upgrades.

    Safety Ownership

    • Ensure maintenance activities meet OSHA, OEM, and company safety standards.

    • Support inspections, corrective actions, and facility maintenance.

    • Identify unsafe conditions and take action to resolve or escalate.

    Parts, Vendors & Budget

    • Purchase parts, components, and supplies.

    • Work with vendors to improve service and control costs.

    • Manage purchase orders and maintenance spending within budget.

    • Look for smarter ways to manage inventory and reduce downtime.

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 7+ years industrial maintenance experience.

    • 2+ years maintenance leadership experience.

    • Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

    • CAD, E‑Plan

    • MIT Pro 7.0 or similar maintenance software

    • Industrial electrical & mechanical systems

    Who Thrives Here

You’re the kind of leader who:

    • Wants to understand why equipment fails—not just restart it.

    • Believes PM should prevent problems, not check boxes.

    • Moves easily between the shop floor, production, and leadership meetings.

    • Develops technicians instead of becoming the “fix‑it” person for every issue.

    • Understands how uptime, safety, cost, labor, and quality connect.

    • Keeps documentation, parts, and processes organized.

    • Balances today’s urgent production needs with tomorrow’s reliability work.

    Physical & Work Environment

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Exposure to manufacturing equipment, moving machinery, and elevated noise.

    • Work in both office and plant environments with varying temperatures.

    • Reasonable accommodations available.
