Maintenance Manager

Constellation Search Group is looking for a Maintenance Manager for a full-time direct hire position. In this role, the Maintenance Manager will oversee the activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. The position requires working collaboratively with production supervisors and maintenance technicians to ensure the proper functioning and improvement of maintenance systems. This role also involves coordinating shift activities, developing cost-effective repair strategies, and managing the department budget to align with cost targets.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance of all team members with safety policies and standards.
• Provide feedback and coaching to develop individuals and team to their full potential.
• Recruit, train, and retain talent to maximize operational efficiency.
• Recommend improvements for production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to drive planned maintenance and respond to unplanned stoppages.
• Prioritize maintenance support needs by understanding operational losses and system capabilities.
• Lead maintenance support for operational equipment in collaboration with the Production Manager.
• Manage maintenance spending to achieve factory budget goals.
• Monitor performance indicators and equipment trends to minimize downtime in coordination with engineering.
• Mentor employees and recommend improvements while promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Qualifications:

• 2 or 4-year degree from a college or technical school, or 5 to 8 years of relevant experience or training.
• At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role, ideally in high-speed manufacturing.
• Proven success in leading maintenance improvement projects and people development.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP) and the ability to analyze data for trends.
• Availability to work normal shifts and provide support 24/7 with extended hours as needed.
• Prior leadership experience in a relevant field.
