Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager leads facility upkeep, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvements. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to driving performance while fostering a safety-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee maintenance, repair, and system upgrades while managing vendor relationships.
  • Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team, ensuring operational efficiency and growth.
  • Monitor and optimize budget performance and maintenance KPIs such as cost per pound.
  • Maintain compliance with USDA, HACCP, and industry sanitation standards.
  • Supervise large-scale maintenance projects and facility rebuilds.
Technical Skills:
  • Facility Maintenance & Operations Managing repairs, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
  • Equipment & Systems Knowledge Expertise in mechanical systems, refrigeration, electrical wiring, and PLC programming.
  • Regulatory Compliance In-depth understanding of HACCP, USDA sanitation guidelines, and pre-operation checks.
  • Financial Management Experience in cost analysis and budget oversight.
  • Technical Problem-Solving Skilled in welding, pneumatics, motor controls, and other maintenance techniques.
