The Maintenance Manager supports the Vice President of Housing Operations by providing leadership, guidance, and collaborative support for all HMC maintenance-related services. The role helps maximize the reliability of equipment and building systems, promoting safe and well-maintained environments.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid PA Driver’s License required
- Demonstrated knowledge of property maintenance, environmental services, housekeeping, building mechanical systems and operations
- Two years of related supervisory experience
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as multiple other software systems
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Provides guidance and collaborative support to PSL HMC communities for maintenance and service operations
- Supports implementation and ongoing maintenance of environmental services, policies and procedures
- Conducts routine community visits and audits of maintenance programs to provide support, identify opportunities and promote consistency
- Supports implementation, management, and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance programs
- Performs inspections and surveys of community service teams to support consistency, qualify, and shared best practices
- Manages construction projects in collaboration with contractors, project managers, architects, community teams, and PSL HMC leadership
- Serves as liaison for construction projects
- Coordinates with appropriate partners to ensure required regulatory licenses and inspections are obtained in a timely manner for projects
- Evaluates project costs and supply metrics to support corporate development and informed decision making
- Supports community employees with acquisition and replacement of IT infrastructure and community IT equipment
- Supports the integration of IT and security systems in collaboration with appropriate partners
