    MAINTENANCE MANAGER

    Sheboygan County | Full-time, direct hire

    Schedule: Day shift, with on-call support for issues outside normal hours

    Pay: $110,000 to $120,000 base salary

    10% BONUS ELIGIBLE


    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    A food manufacturer is hiring a Maintenance Manager to lead the full maintenance department at its WI plant. You will report to the Plant Manager and lead a team of 1 maintenance supervisor, 1 salaried automation and controls technician and 6 maintenance technicians. This is a chance to join at an important point in the site's growth and have a direct impact on what comes next.


    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Lead the maintenance team and manage all building and equipment maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, installation, inspection and diagnostics
    • Schedule, supervise and perform building, grounds and equipment maintenance, including structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC work
    • Maintain and organize spare parts inventory and coordinate parts and supply orders
    • Develop a work order program, prioritize maintenance tasks and supervise contractors on non-emergency projects
    • Implement and monitor an accurate Preventive Maintenance Program
    • Provide weekly project and budget updates to the Plant Manager and manage expenses to budget
    • Set and communicate staffing schedules, ensuring coverage during absences
    • Partner with other departments on productivity, plant safety and regulatory compliance
    • Recruit, train and lead maintenance staff in a team-based environment
    • Ensure safety, food safety, GMP compliance and adherence to regulatory policies


    WHAT YOU NEED

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 5 to 10 years of industrial maintenance management experience, preferably in food grade manufacturing
    • 5+ years of supervisory experience
    • Exceptional project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Strong knowledge of computer software applications
    • Available for on-call support outside normal working hours

    Required experience with at least one of the following;

    • Dryers
    • Filtration Systems
    • Evaporators
