JOB TITLE: Maintenance Manager

eVAC Magnetics LLC is seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance strategy and execution at its Sumter, SC facility. This role focuses on maximizing equipment reliability, improving uptime, and supporting efficient NdFeB magnet production through strong leadership, preventive maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration. The role oversees Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Supervisors and leads planning, reliability initiatives, and technical troubleshooting.
Develop and execute plant maintenance strategies to maximize OEE and minimize downtime.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Supervisors and teams.
Set maintenance priorities aligned with production goals.
Manage maintenance budgets, including labor, parts, contractors, and capital expenses.
Improve preventive and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs.
Use CMMS data to enhance asset reliability and reduce recurring issues.
Oversee CMMS functionality, including work orders, asset history, and inventory.
Implement reliability-centered maintenance and lifecycle planning.
Serve as escalation point for complex equipment failures.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
Partner with Engineering and Production on process improvements and projects.
Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with EHS standards and company policies.
Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Promote a strong safety culture through training and accountability.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
CMRP or similar certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, reliability engineering, and manufacturing operations.
Experience with CMMS platforms and predictive maintenance technologies.
7+ years in maintenance, reliability, or industrial manufacturing.
3+ years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams or supervisors.
High-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong leadership and team development abilities.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proven success driving continuous improvement initiatives.
