Job Title:              Maintenance Manager (MAITMan)

Primary Function: Responsible for managing all installation, repair, and upkeep operations of our company’s facilities and equipment. Your duties will include maintaining machinery, planning repair activities, and developing maintenance procedures. Oversight responsibilities to all maintenance mechanics and electro-mechanical technicians.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
  • Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Troubleshoot and view programs to PLC’s.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work and oversee the management of projects or contractors.
  • Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
  • Management of the Building Management System (BMS).
  • Management of the Environmental Monitoring System (EMS).
  • Available to be on call 24/7 for emergency equipment and facilities failures.
  • Hands on work with projects and or troubleshooting.
  • Management of the CMMS software.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead employees of the maintenance department.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
  • Experience with Auto Cad or similar program.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA79, OSHA Regulations.
Education and/or Experience:
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering is preferred (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)
  • Prior experience with cGMP, ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 are preferred.
  • 5-10 years of work experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
  • 3-5 years managing maintenance staff and contractors.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Language/Communication Skills: Ability to read and write and follow written work instructions.
Computer Skills:
  • SOLIDWORKS and/or AutoCAD preferred.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and ability to learn new electronic maintenance recording systems.
