    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Hands on leadership of 5+ mechanics supporting 75 person facility equipped with multiple types of machinery
    • Directs and assists team members with electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
    • Maintains inventory and oversees purchases of parts
    • Establishes and adjusts work procedures and schedules to meet company demand
    • Motivate and implement safety procedures, recognition, and accountability
    • Collaborate with departmental managers to meet plant goals
    • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
    • Collaborates on the root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fixes.
    • Coordinates preventative maintenance with the production planning staff.
    • Receives and reviews maintenance requests and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources.
    • Inspects equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs.
    • Maintains records and documentation related to equipment and workforce
    • Manages the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.

    Minimum Qualifications for Consideration

    • Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required, Associates preferred.
    • Technical and mechanical knowledge and aptitude
    • Experience: General computer experience; organizational skills.
    • 5+ years supervising others successfully
    • Motivated team player capable of meeting tight deadlines
