The Goals and Challenges of this Role:
- Work Order Management - Receive, prioritize and schedule Maintenance Work Orders and track progress
- Develop and Maintain PM schedules, track progress, and effectiveness
- Maintain an accurate inventory of critical spare parts
- Coordinate with purchasing for the ordering of parts
- Negotiate with contractors and vendors for reasonable pricing and ensuring that the scope of the work is correct
- Communicate priorities, delays, updates, and completion of work orders to the maintenance team and the operations team
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and downtime
- Establish the correct scorecard measurables for each quarter and maintain them
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in a safe manner
- Support root cause analysis of safety incidents
- Utilize the Upkeep Maintenance Management System to manage work orders and assets
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for the maintenance team
- Support capital projects and equipment installations
What You Should Bring to this Role:
- Education or practical experience in technical / engineering / manufacturing field
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to effectively manage priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience and understanding in hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
