Our client, a food production facility in the Cincinnati area, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead their technical team. This is a critical role for a "player-coach" who enjoys being on the floor while managing the day-to-day reliability of a specialized food manufacturing environment.

Lead and develop a small team of maintenance technicians, ensuring high performance and safety compliance.
Oversee all preventative maintenance (PM) programs for production equipment, including grinders, stuffers, and packaging machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues (PLCs, motors, hydraulics) to minimize downtime.
Manage parts inventory and coordinate with external vendors for facility repairs.
Ensure all maintenance activities meet USDA and SQF food safety standards.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Technical degree or trade certification (Mechanical/Electrical) is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in industrial maintenance, specifically within the meat or protein manufacturing industry.
Management: 3–5 years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
Process Oversight: Strong understanding of USDA regulations, HACCP protocols, and food safety requirements.
Specific Skills: Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting high-speed packaging and processing equipment.
Additional Requirements: Must be a local candidate to the Greater Cincinnati area; ability to work in a cold-storage environment.
