We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Manager to oversee and ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of our facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. This role involves hands-on leadership and is crucial in maintaining the daily support of production equipment, managing facility maintenance, and leading the maintenance department.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for production equipment mechanical and electrical uptime and perform machinery maintenance.
• Oversee facility building and grounds maintenance.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage the performance of the maintenance department staff.
• Manage maintenance technicians and contractors to address standard and emergency repairs, ensuring uninterrupted production.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs for all equipment.
• Coordinate third-party service repairs and manage vendors for maintenance activities.
• Enforce safety and compliance through OSHA-aligned procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain audit readiness.
• Create work schedules, assign and prioritize daily tasks, and oversee maintenance staff and janitorial duties.
• Ensure operational efficiency of mechanical systems and electrical equipment through timely inspections and repairs.
• Identify and source necessary parts, supplies, and repair items.
• Analyze problems and perform repairs on electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems.
• Coordinate and schedule outside contractors for equipment services as required.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery, keeping records and documentation of work performed.
• Assist in researching new machinery and equipment, providing recommendations for purchases, and managing equipment moves and installations.
• Track maintenance expenses, assist with budgeting, and provide CAPEX justifications.
• Implement workplace safety policies and standards, enforcing safety and housekeeping practices.
• Manage department staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing issues.

Essential Skills

• 7+ years of related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership experience in manufacturing with a focus on ownership and accountability.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with preventive maintenance program development and execution.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Safety-first mindset and continuous improvement approach.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with MaintainX is a plus.
• PLC-related troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Bachelors Degree in facility management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a high-volume manufacturing setting, necessitating a safety-first mindset. This position requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities for both managing a team and performing technical tasks. The ideal candidate will embrace continuous improvement and ensure compliance with safety regulations. A high school diploma with relevant experience is required, and a Bachelor"s degree is preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $140000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
