    Maintenance Manager – Apartment Community

    Location: Moore, OKProperty: 146-Unit Apartment Community

    About the Position

    We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance operations for our apartment community in Moore, Oklahoma. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained property while providing excellent customer service to our residents.

    This position requires someone who is organized, dependable, and experienced in apartment maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and make-ready operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead the maintenance team.
    • Coordinate daily work orders and preventative maintenance.
    • Oversee apartment turns to ensure units are move-in ready on schedule.
    • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, flooring, and general building maintenance.
    • Maintain the property's curb appeal and common areas.
    • Schedule and oversee outside vendors and contractors.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
    • Manage inventory, supplies, and maintenance budgets.
    • Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
    • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of apartment maintenance experience.
    • Previous supervisory or Maintenance Manager experience preferred.
    • EPA Universal Certification required.
    • HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
    • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance.
    • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification.
    • CAMT designation.
    • Experience using property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or AppFolio.
