Reports to: VP of Supply Chain
Job Description:
Oversee maintenance related functions
PM program/schedule that ensures machine robustness along with the coordination of production schedule needs
Ensure all equipment and tools are maintained properly to avoid interruption of production and to minimize unnecessary downtime
Analyze machine downtime to identify and correct mechanical problems
Ensure availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment to minimize unnecessary machine downtime
Maintain maintenance related records
Coordinate with outside contractors on equipment repairs and to source the most effective repairs and upgrades cost
Maintains clear written records
Creates and ensures a safe and secure work environment
Ability to provide hands on training
Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental Systems, HR policies and Martinrea Employee Handbook
Work Environment:
Required Education and Experience:
College courses in Maintenance related discipline; Millwright or Electrical certificate of qualification is preferred
Minimum 8 - 10 years' experience in Maintenance position in industry
3 years at manager level
Must have experience in welding/ stamping facility
Proficient in Microsoft office
High level of time management and organizational skills
Ability to lead a team
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
